Hello! I am Cade, nerd extraordinaire. I am a man of many interests, including computer networking and programming, skateboarding, and microcontroller programming!
It's hard to find time to do what I love between work and school, but I try to keep myself engaged in my hobbies!
On my page you will find an assortment of my interests, preferences, and limited contact information.
If you've found this page, it is most likely because I gave it to you, so you'd already have useful contact information.
I've been working on computers since 6th grade, when I built my first PC.
This PC has been upgraded over time, with parts either sold or reused for servers.
I started programming in 7th grade with Python and have picked up any necessary languages for projects.
I also enjoy working with servers, usually for game or file hosting.
Currently playing with TrueNAS scale to learn how to efficiently use VMs and containers for hosting!
I started making this website with no exact goal. I gave it some goofy text and images
and uploaded it to our lord and savior Neocities. I'd like to treat this as a sort of
resume for all the strangers who somehow discover my little corner of the internet.
With projects galore and whatever junk I decide to throw on here, I hope you enjoy my Homepad.
Projects!
A relatively simplistic n-body gravity simulation in Java.
I'm not particularly great at physics, so most of the actual
gravity bits don't function correctly. Thank god I'm not looking
for a job in Physics. I'm very proud of the user interface, though, and
I love to just run it to look at the dots move around the screen!
In my Sophomore year of High School, me and a friend designed
a civil war board game for a project. It was incredibly fun to
design the concepts for and make the physical game, so I attempted
to bring it to C++ to teach myself more! I never got too far, picking it
back up during a semester at Community College before putting it back down.
Another page I have uploaded to Neocities! I wrote this
for an English project in my Senior year of Highschool
where we had to research any topic of personal interest and write a
paper documenting us making anything related to the topic. I love nuclear power,
so I made a (very poor) game about operating one!
